The President

Dr. Warren Laux

Dr. Warren Laux was appointed President of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology – McMinnville in April 2010. Dr. Laux earned his B.A. in 1972 in Industrial Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, his Masters in 1977 at the University of South Florida, Education Specialist in 1990 at the University of South Florida, and Doctorate of Education in 1999 at the University of South Florida.

Before coming to Tennessee Dr. Laux taught middle school and adult education and was adjunct at both community colleges and universities. He was a County Vocational Supervisor, Assistant Director and Director in Clearwater, Florida for 10 years and was Director of St. Petersburg Technical Center for 15 years.
