Potential students must pass two prerequisite courses: Dosage Calculations and Anatomy and Physiology.
The Hybrid PN class is now offered as a blended cohort. Students can choose to attend on-ground Monday and Wednesday, and attend a synchronous virtual classroom Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The other option for this cohort is to attend attend on-ground Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 2:30PM). The total program commitment is 30 hours per week.
The Hybrid PN program is 12 months and covers the same curriculum as the on-ground program. Students who select the Hybrid program need to have strong computer skills.
The PN student studies basic nursing skills and conditions of illness, nutrition, and treatments. The clinical experience provides supervised nursing care of medical-surgical, obstetric, pediatric, and geriatric patients.

Practical Nursing (On-ground and Hybrid) Application
BACKGROUND CHECKS: If you are accepted into the Practical Nursing program, you will be required to have a background check completed prior to clinical rotations.
The cost of the background checks are not covered in the tuition or by financial aid.
Students who have been CONVICTED OF A CRIME, may not be permitted to attend clinicals. If you are not allowed to take the clinical portion, you will not be able to complete the program requirements.
*Disclosure*: Please be advised that some convictions could prohibit nursing students from sitting for the National Council of Licensure Exam (NCLEX).
